Author Fees
Locus: Jurnal Konsep Ilmu Hukum (JKIH) applies a transparent author fee policy to support editorial management, article production, journal website maintenance, indexing administration, layout editing, and long-term digital accessibility. The journal does not charge any fee at the submission stage.
Publication fees are only requested after a manuscript has completed the editorial and peer-review process and has been formally accepted for publication by the editorial board. Payment of publication fees does not influence editorial decisions and does not guarantee acceptance of any manuscript.
Author Fee Policy
| Fee Type | Amount | Explanation |
|---|---|---|
| Article Submission Fee | Rp0 | Authors are not required to pay any fee when submitting a manuscript to JKIH. |
| Article Publication Charge Fast-Track Editorial Process |
Rp700.000 | This fee applies only to manuscripts that have been accepted for publication after completing the editorial screening and peer-review process. |
Fast-Track Editorial Process
The fast-track process refers to a more efficient editorial workflow, including administrative checking, editorial communication, layout preparation, and publication scheduling. It does not eliminate peer review, does not reduce academic standards, and does not guarantee acceptance.
At present, JKIH applies a single publication fee scheme through the fast-track editorial process. This policy is intended to maintain editorial efficiency, ensure consistency in publication management, and support the sustainability of the journal’s open-access publishing services.
All manuscripts remain subject to editorial screening, plagiarism checking, reviewer assessment, author revision, and final editorial decision. Manuscripts that do not meet the journal’s academic, ethical, or technical standards may be declined regardless of any publication fee policy.
Fee Waiver Policy
Fee Waiver Consideration
- Authors who experience financial constraints may submit a fee waiver request to the editorial office.
- Fee waiver requests are considered on a case-by-case basis by the editorial team.
- The request for a fee waiver does not affect the peer-review process or editorial decision.
- Authors are encouraged to communicate fee waiver requests after receiving editorial notification regarding manuscript acceptance.
Important Notice
