This study examines the association between perceived comedy elements in the trailer for Agak Laen: Menyala Pantiku! and audience appeal among 100 surveyed members of the Motion Ime community. The analytical framework combines Berger’s language, logic, identity, and action categories with the Attention–Interest–Search–Action–Share (AISAS) framework and an active-audience perspective. The cross-sectional questionnaire contained 16 comedy-element and 16 audience-appeal items using five-point response scales. The reported internal-consistency coefficients were .822 and .854, respectively. The supplied results showed a positive correlation (r = .785, p < .001) and a positive linear regression coefficient (B = .814, SE = .065). Descriptive item responses particularly highlighted wordplay and identity imitation, while reported AISAS responses covered attention, interest, information seeking, viewing intentions, and sharing. These results describe associations between self-reported perceptions and responses; they do not establish a causal trailer effect or actual ticket purchasing. Sampling implementation, questionnaire wording, and participant-consent documentation require author verification before publication.
